TripApi is a cruise price intelligence platform built for travelers and travel professionals. We continuously monitor cabin pricing, availability, and itinerary data across every major cruise line — updated multiple times per day — so you never miss a price drop.
Our Mission
Cruise pricing is notoriously opaque. Cabin rates fluctuate daily based on demand, inventory, and promotional cycles. Most travelers book at one price and never look back — even when the same cabin drops hundreds of dollars weeks later. Travel agents managing dozens of client bookings face the same problem at scale.
We built TripApi to bring transparency to cruise pricing. Our scrapers collect real-time cabin-level pricing data from cruise line websites, normalize it, and make it searchable through both a traditional search interface and an AI-powered conversational assistant. When a price drops below your threshold, we let you know.
How It Works
Data Collection
Our automated pipeline scrapes cruise line websites approximately five times per day, capturing cabin grades, pricing tiers, itinerary details, and availability status for thousands of active sailings.
Price Tracking
Set a price threshold on any cabin grade. We compare each new data pull against your target and trigger an alert the moment the price crosses your line — whether that's a dollar amount, a percentage drop, or any change at all.
AI-Powered Search
Ask our AI assistant in plain English. "Show me 7-day Caribbean cruises from Miami in January under $1,500" works just as well as browsing the filters manually. The assistant can also create trackers and explain pricing trends.
Cruise Lines We Cover
We currently track pricing across 13 cruise lines, covering everything from mainstream lines to ultra-luxury and expedition brands.
For Travel Agents
Our B2B portal at agents.tripapi.com is designed for travel professionals who manage multiple client bookings simultaneously. Agents can attach booking references to each tracker, set per-client thresholds, and receive alerts that map directly to their book of business. No more manually checking cruise line websites for reprice opportunities.
